HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE INDUSTRY, AND WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE THIS PATh?
I’ve always been drawn to the human services field. Whether I was working in hospitality, providing personal care, supporting charitable initiatives, or helping people launch their careers, I’ve consistently gravitated toward roles that allow me to serve others. That passion for supporting people at different stages of their lives is what ultimately led me to choose this path.
What advice do you have for women starting their careers?
Women do best early in their careers when they’re surrounded by people who genuinely want to see them grow. That means finding mentors who pour into you, building friendships with peers who cheer you on and keep you accountable, and staying connected to communities that share your values and goals. When you have people in your corner, it’s easier to stay confident, take risks, and keep moving toward the future you want.
HOw does Link support you in your professional goals?
My Link team truly feels like family. I’m surrounded by leaders and peers who genuinely want to see me succeed. People who encourage me, challenge me, and help me grow. The culture really centers on working together and celebrating wins as a team. Being in that kind of environment gives me the confidence to keep moving forward in my career.
What inspires you?
Seeing others succeed is what inspires me most. I love being part of the journey—from the moment we start recruiting, through onboarding, and all the way into their growth at Link. Knowing I played even a small part in the beginning of their career here genuinely makes me happy. Watching people step into their potential, often behind the scenes, is what keeps me motivated and reminds me why I’m in this field.
