Meet Tammie Currie, Our Business Office Lead at the Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Air Field. Tammie is our office manager who oversees our Ft. Stewart, Hunter Army Air Field, and the hospital, drafting and logistics teams.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE INDUSTRY, AND WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE THIS PATh?
I was recommended by a mentor for a junior office position to an office manager onsite at Ft. Stewart.
What advice do you have for women starting their careers?
My advice to any woman starting out today in this field or any field for that matter is to be proactive in networking, not to be intimidated by titles, and to not be afraid to ask questions, my professional journey became smoother when I learned these lessons.
